I’ve owned Duke since July 2010 as a classic little black lab pup. He helped me through a difficult time back then, as my partner had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and he was such a wonderful distraction for both of us, until her passing. Since those times he has been everything anyone could wish for in a dog and has been a real credit to me and we have enjoyed so many wonderful adventures together! Although sadly being diagnosed with possible cancer or bone disease several years ago, and became lame on a back leg, he fought on and lived to not far short of his 14^th birthday.. a great result.

Farewell my best friend and you will always to be in my heart with so many other people who knew you along the way 🙂

We rescued Milly at 11 months old and she was with us until a few months short of her 15th birthday. She was such a lovely gentle natured girl and a joy to have. We miss her so much and the house is so quiet, but it was the right time for her, come the end. We do have years of lovely memories and will remember her dearly and fondly.
