Max Ryan

Max enjoying his afternoon nap.

I live alone and my house feels very empty without him. He was “the boss”. In varied ways he showed his affection but in one way in particular. Each day at a time of his choosing he would get on my chest and pound my heart with his paws for five to ten minutes while penetrating my head with his fixed wide eyed stare. I could not ask for a better sign of gratitude and love.

Its two weeks today since I said farewell. Am pleased that his pains have ended and grateful to God for the joy he brought into my daily life.
