I’ve owned Duke since July 2010 as a classic little black lab pup. He helped me through a difficult time back then, as my partner had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and he was such a wonderful distraction for both of us, until her passing. Since those times he has been everything anyone could wish for in a dog and has been a real credit to me and we have enjoyed so many wonderful adventures together! Although sadly being diagnosed with possible cancer or bone disease several years ago, and became lame on a back leg, he fought on and lived to not far short of his 14th birthday.. a great result.
Farewell my best friend and you will always to be in my heart with so many other people who knew you along the way 🙂
