Henry was rescued from the streets of Bristol at the age of 7 years old. He was in a very poor mental and physical state and his trust in humans was at rock bottom. My wife and I adopted Henry and just gave him time and love to allow for his true loving and playful character to resurface.
A couple of years after Henry came into our lives my wife sadly passed away and Henry helped me to get through each day without her. Up to his final day, at the grand old age of 18 years old, he had shown us nothing but love and companionship. He was a sweet natured little dog apart from his hatred of the squeak in his toys. His personal best in permanently silencing them was 6 secs.
He is greatly missed by all who knew him and I am comforted to know that in death he is helping with the advancement of veterinary medicine.
